Tasting notes
The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is smoking good and one of the finest classic cuvées out there. blackberries, licorice, roasted herbs and toasted spice all emerge from the glass of this full-bodied, powerful, stacked 2015 that's up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. This cuvée is a non-destemmed blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre and was brought up all in concrete tanks.

A stunning entry-level effort, the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape from Mas de Boislauzon is full-bodied, richly textured and plush. This 70-30 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre was raised exclusively in concrete, allowing the black cherry and plum fruit to shine, accented by allspice and clove notes on the long finish.
The 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape is a totally killer entry level wine that boasts tons of ripe black raspberry fruit, licorice, garrigue, incense and caramelized meat nuances in its rich, full-bodied, stacked personality. Made from 65% Grenache and 35% Mourvèdre, aged in older barrels and concrete tank, it’s a stunner to buy by the case.
