Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2016

The 2014 Savigny-lès-Beaune Village, matured in 30% new oak, has a lilting bouquet of fresh strawberry and red cherry fruit, elegant in style. The palate is underpinned by very fine tannin, bright and delineated tart red fruit and suitably elegant finish that deftly conveys the essence of "pinoté". Enjoy this mild-mannered but very pure Savigny over the next 5-6 years.

Bright cherry-red. Vibrant aromas and flavors of red cherry, raspberry and flowers. Juicy and penetrating in the mouth, displaying noteworthy detail and a refreshingly cool quality. This very sappy Savigny-lès-Beaune finishes with cut and class.
