Score 90-92/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound

Ample wood fights somewhat with the otherwise wonderfully fresh and bright red cherry, floral and softly earth-scented aromas. There is both good vibrancy and refinement to the lightly mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that possess a lovely mouth feel though the wood is very much present on the finish. The underlying material is probably sufficient to eat the wood and my predicted range assumes that it will. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
