Score 89/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2016

(bottled in April; from southwest-facing vines at an altitude of 380 meters): Bright lemon-yellow. Lovely leesy complexity and a touch of noble reduction to the complex, inviting aromas of lemon, fresh herbs and smoky minerality. Plush, sweet, broad and fine-grained, but kept alive by a tangy lemony streak that runs through the wine and firms the serious, classically dry finish. This wine was fermented and aged in oak, 10% new, like Burrier's top Pouilly-Fuissé bottlings.
