Score 92/100 · Drink 2017-2025, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

A blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, coming all from higher elevation and granite soils, the 2015 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde l'Esquerda sports and a vibrant purple color as well as classic Syrah notes of black raspberries, blackberries, crushed flowers and violets. Fresh, focused and really showing a terrific granite character, this classy beauty has a core of sweet fruit and is a northern Rhône with a kiss of Roussillon sunshine and warmth.
