Tasting notes
High-resolution bramble fruit on the nose, blackcurrant and fruit cake and cocoa. Long, green-olive complexity on the finish. A touch of juniper, even padron pepper?! No hurry to drink this, it is only just hitting its stride. Supreme. (RH)

Inky ruby. Explosive dark berry and cherry pit aromas are complemented by smoky oak, incense and pipe tobacco accents. Concentrated and fleshy in the mouth, offering alluringly sweet blueberry, cassis and cherry pie flavors and suggestions of bitter chocolate, spicecake and vanilla. Becomes more energetic with air and finishes with outstanding persistence and smooth tannins that shape the lush, sweet fruit.
This has an impressive core of fruit, showing blood orange and red currants, blueberry, red plum and more; plenty of spicy, mocha-scented oak too, then chalky notes, and a little leafy edge. The palate has a fine grain, dense and supple; tannins are smooth, even and dense. Long future, ripe and bright, but needs more time. Best from 2021.
Very subtle and well integrated. Correct and beautifully integrated. A really lovely subtle wine. Complete and long.
