2012 Bereche et Fils Les Monts Fournois 1er Cru

An addition to the range, the 2012 Extra-Brut Les Monts Fournois is terrific. Rich, ample and nuanced in the glass, the 2012 has an element of weightlessness to it that simply adds to the wine's considerable finesse. Lemon confit, white flowers, chalk and mint all contribute to an impression of total finesse. Lifted, expressive aromatics return to frame the precise detailed finish. Even with its 13% of natural alcohol (high for Champagne) the 2012 offers exceptional balance and class. I loved it. Disgorged December 2015. Dosage is 3 grams per liter.
