Tasting notes
The 2015 Château Tour Haut-Caussan is a mid-weight charmer that gives up pretty notes of strawberries, mint and rose petal. It lacks density and character, yet is certainly deliciously gulpable.

Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Tour Haut-Caussan felt a little volatile on the nose, although there are attractive red cherry and kirsch notes here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine line of acidity, quite lithe in the mouth with a harmonious finish. It is not as complex or as detailed as others but it is well crafted with plenty of freshness. Tasted September 2017.
Some ripe berry and cherry character, medium body, delicate finish. Hints of stone and chalk. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com
