Pale garnet. Interesting, very fruity nose. Sweet, charming start. Real energy and charm. Maybe not for the very long term but this is quintessential burgundy. (JR)

The 2014 Morey St Denis en la Rue de Vergy had been bottled in the beginning of September. It offers brambly red berry fruit on the nose, perhaps just a little rustic but with lots of charm. The palate is smooth and supple, very forward in style and perhaps just missing a little backbone towards the finish. Enjoy this over the next 2-3 years.

Above Clos de Tart. Bright cherry red. Relaxed style. Bright fruit and lovely fresh stuff. Juicy and pure. (JR)
