Light straw-yellow. Deep yellow peach and smoky oak on the nose, along with a slightly nectar-like fruit salad quality. Lemon and peach flavors show good intensity but an element of reduction gives the middle palate a slightly edgy, blocky character. This rather firm midweight still needs to absorb its acidity and gain in nuance. No shortage of energy or length though.

(mostly from the minerally lieu-dit Fairendes but also includes Girardin's fruit from the Abbaye de Morgeot): Pale, bright yellow. Very ripe aromas of yellow peach and pear with a honeyed note. Sweet, smooth and fruity on the palate, showing good density without coming off as heavy. But not particularly complex today.
