Tasting notes
Dark red. Reduced nose hints at dark cherry and dried rose. Compact and reduced on the palate but already shows a suave texture and terrific juicy definition and lift to the flavors of sour cherry, earth and caramel oak. This strong, sappy wine finishes very subtle and long but will need time in bottle to expand. Has all the elements to make a very classy Clos Saint-Denis.

The 2014 Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru has a very fragrant bouquet, very transparent with enticing, mineral-rich red cherry and strawberry scents that are very Vosne-like. The palate is silky to the touch, effervescent with hints of orange zest and a long, sweet, tart cherry finish that is very promising. Watch this one because I feel it will grow into a well crafted Clos Saint Denis.
