The bright-orange color is impressive, as are aromas of chamomile and light fruit teas, orange peel and truffles. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture, very polished and soft, showing dried oranges, salted butter and light caramel. A unique aftertaste. So gorgeous and rare. Drink and enjoy.

A totally breathtaking wine, the 1995 Dom Pérignon Rosé P2 is a fitting conclusion to this tasting. Crushed flowers, sweet tobacco, cedar and dried cherry give the 1995 fabulous aromatic complexity and nuance. Deceptive in its ethereal feel, the 1995 has lovely palate presence and tons of class. It is both mature and timeless, in the way only Champagne can be.
Rich and round. Very slightly toasty with great drive. More like 1996 rosé than it resembles the 1995 and 1996 whites. (JR)
Pale salmon pink in colour. Interesting nose! Some ground nuts and sweet coffee aroma. Refined and elegant. Exquisite complexity – this has superb flavour and breadth; classic champagne autolysis but with proper mature vinous aroma too. Slight tannic chew on the finish. (RH)
