Tasting notes
Obvious botrytis tones to the aromas of honeyed fruit salad and menthol. At once lemony and sweet in the mouth, less honeyed than the nose but still with a slightly exotic character and showing some streaky acidity. Ultimately more strict in the mouth than the more evolved nose would suggest.

30,000 bottles. In 2013 they had yields of just 30 hl/ha. Very bad flowering throughout the Mâconnais. Broad and a little casual with a medicinal note. Lots acidity and well sculpted. (JR)
Blended just recently, the 2013 Mâcon Milly Lamartine Clos du Four has a crisp and precise bouquet, slightly floral at the moment, with pithy fruit. The palate is mineral-driven with racy and almost piercing acidity (the pH came in at 3.05) with a vibrant and tense finish. Steely and clinical, this could well turn out to be the most "Zen" of Dominique Lafon’s 2013s.
