Score 96/100 · Drink 2021-2045, Neal Martin, Aug 2021

The 2011 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru came from magnum. It has a very refined bouquet that builds in potency, delivering enticing grilled hazelnut, menthol and subtle orange blossom scents. The palate is medium-bodied and wonderfully poised, blessed with pitch-perfect acidity, and fans out on an energy-packed, vivacious finish that contains just enough salinity to tempt you back. Wonderful, and what a long life ahead.
