Tasting notes
Always one of the most reliable, lower-pedigree wines in the Medoc, this excellent effort in 2013 is a sleeper of the vintage. Dark ruby/purple-tinged, with notes of blueberry and raspberry fruit, it has a hint of wet rocks – or is it cold steel? Nice texture, good fruit and a delicious mouthfeel make for a very good value wine to drink over the next 5-6 years.
