Tasting notes
Late vintage. Notably concentrated. Very deep greenish gold. Masses of acidity. Tastes much more youthful than it looks. Savoury and gorgeous. Remarkably youthful. (JR)

Pale yellow-gold. Reticent nose hints at minerals and iodine, with fruit very much in the background today. Then dense and deep on the large-scaled palate, with an orange pith flavor complicated by flowers and spices. All stone on the long, powerful finish. Much less expressive today than the Bienvenue and in need of several years of cellaring.
About the producer

Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy’s most important wine producers. The family-owned estate, now in the hands of the seventh generation, is one of the largest in the region, with significant holdings in both the Côte d’Or and the Côte Chalonnaise.
