Domaine owned. Embryonic though quite rich on the nose. Very full bodied and with some structure. If I were tasting this without having had the benefit of tasting this wine when it is fully mature, I would be pretty disappointed, I fear. But I am giving it the benefit of the doubt. There is certainly structure there. (JR)

About the producer

Louis Latour
The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
