Tasting notes
Cask sample. Sleek, lean and dancing with life, with lots underneath. Pretty concentrated and tense and trying hard. Very unformed, but quite exciting and convincing. (JR)

Radiant white flower, citrus and limestone aromas are framed by a deft, very subtle touch of oak spice and lead to a refined, elegant, understated flavor profile combining intense minerality and marvelous detail plus remarkable depth and complexity. This just oozes class and is built along the classic Chevalier lines of silk and lace rather than power and richness. Outstanding quality for the vintage and the 2001 Demoiselles is a wine of exceptional elegance. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Mar02,2005.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
