Tasting notes
Score 89+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2007

(cabernet sauvignon with 30% shiraz and 10% merlot) Saturated, deep ruby-red. Tight nose suggests cassis, minerals, licorice and sexy oak. Juicy, firm and primary; quite tightly wound and less pliant than the 2002 cabernet. But this wine's very intense dark fruit flavors suggest it will reward four or five years of aging. Plenty of oak tannins on the finish.
