Tasting notes
Dusty and very faint lime citrus notes, lemon cream. Delicate but more evident fruit flavour than the straight Chablis. Still more mineral than fruit. Dry, savoury and tight on the palate. Wet stones and a touch of cedar forest. The beginning of a nutty flavour. More complex than the straight Chablis and more power. Taut and very youthful still. Very persistent and intense to the end. Pale, green-tinged color. Aromas of lime, wet stone and menthol. Round and ripe, with appealing flavors of stone fruits and acacia flower. Fat and broad but dry and classic, with plenty of stuffing. Very good but a bit less pristine than the 2006 version.
Pure, floral aromas of lime and crushed stone. Fat and sweet in the mouth, with lovely thrust and minerality to the citrus and floral flavors. Very nicely balanced, juicy wine with a firm aftertaste.
