Score 91/100 · David Schildknecht, Wine Advocate, Dec 2008

Jeremy Seysses – who, incidentally, has been considerably occupied of late in the enjoyment and study of Riesling – is carving new opportunities to vinify white wine, including a 2006 Puligny-Montrachet rendered from purchased fruit under the “Dujac Fils & Pere” label. Well-concentrated, deftly proportioned, smoothly polished and subtly creamy in texture, this white peach- and mineral-filled Puligny incorporates lovely and mysterious nuances of flowers, truffle, and musk. Lingering far longer and more thought-provokingly than one expects from a village level wine, I would not be surprised to see it justify 3-5 years of bottle maturation. Inspired in part by their admiration for Ponsot’s white (although they did not follow him in their choice of grape), the Seysses family dedicated a small portion of the additional acreage afforded them by investors in Domaine Dujac, to Chardonnay.
