Dark red. Rather smoky-oaky aromas of dark cherry and dark chocolate. Rich, supple, broad and sweet, with good focus thanks to firm acidity. Plenty of spicy oak, sassafras and smoky torrefaction in the mouth. Finishes with ripe tannins.

(the fruit was picked with 15.6% potential alcohol, noted Laurent, as the hail storm left very few grapes and bunches) Medium red. Smoky, almost roasted aromas of of cherry, minerals and licorice; suggestions of surmaturite Creamy-sweet, huge and very deep, with almost confectionery sweetness of sappy red fruit flavor. Wonderfully concentrated, dense and palate-staining wine, with tannins buried in fruit.
