Score 90/100 · Drink 2015-2020, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015
The so-called Cuvée Sacha is always a non-vintage white, as it blends wine from different harvests. The one I tasted, let's call it NV Arbois Cuvée Sacha, blended Savagnin from 2012 and Chardonnay from 2013. It's a 50/50 blend, which is sold without vintage and impossible to identify by looking at the label. The Savagnin develops a veil of yeasts for one year. It has aromas of flowers and green nuts with some spices thrown in. It has a savory, salty palate with some flavors of chicken stock and mushrooms. The problem, as with all non-vintage wines, is that it's hard/impossible to differentiate one lot/year form the rest. 3,000 bottles.
