Tasting notes
Clear bright colour, with ripe fruit and the stem character, plus oak. Where this scores is on the finish, which stretches out admirable and all its components deliver, though they are not fully integrated. A chocolate note or two, but all in place.

The 2009 Morey St. Denis shows gorgeous focus and energy. I especially like the way the 2009 develops complexity in the glass. Red berries, spices, flowers and mint wrap around the finish. This is a lovely effort.

Good bright red. Explosive, very ripe aromas of raspberry, spices, coffee and chocolate. Dense and creamy but energetic too, with surprising acidity giving the wine good cut and extending the finish. Finishes with broad, dusty tannins and a repeating note of chocolate.
