Score 87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Moderately saturated bright red. Red cherry, blond tobacco and a peppery nuance on the nose. Supple, ripe flavors of plum and spice. A step up in sweetness and flesh over the premier crus from Vosne-Romanee, but still on the soft side and lacking grip. Tannins are dusty but not dry.
