Lightish crimson. Rich, creamy, vanilla-laced cherry fruit on the nose. Juicy even though the tannins are on the dry side. Well balanced overall. (JH)

Good medium red. Aromas of black cherry, menthol and sweet oak, lifted by topnotes of rose petal and violet. A step up in flavor and depth from the foregoing Nuits samples, showing lovely cut and lift to the perfumed flavors of sweet black cherry and menthol. At once chewy and refined, finishing with ripe tannins, attractive salinity and lingering perfume.
