(25% vendange entier Medium red. Reduced nose hints at smoky red fruits and spices. Then sweet and smooth on the palate; began rather subdued with reduction but opened nicely to show perfumed flavors of violet, licorice and leather. Finishes gentle, scented and long, with firm but suave tannins. This really grew on me.
