Tasting notes
Saturated medium red. Expressive nose offers redcurrant and graphite. Quite sweet and supple, with an almost liqueur-like quality to the red fruit and brown spice flavors. Suggests some underlying minerality, but this shows a rather soft structure for a Faiveley wine and is likely to give pleasure early.

This too has a pretty and perfumed nose that offers up notes of mildly toasty wood and very fresh and stony red pinot fruit, spiced plum and violet hints that can also be found on the sappy, delicious, detailed and notably cool middle weight flavors brimming with an almost pungent minerality before culminating in a balanced, long and palate staining finish. This is classy juice with a perfect alliance of finesse and power. Recommended. Allen Meadows, Burghound.com
