Bright red-ruby. Subdued aromas of sappy cherry and minerals. Supple but rather imploded today, with raspberry and cherry flavors supported by a light dusting of tannins. This should open nicely with four or five years of bottle aging.

Good full red. Aromatic nose combines raspberry, pepper and spices. Juicy and penetrating, with a restrained sweetness owing to firm acids and underlying mineral character. Less evolved than the village wines.
