Tasting notes
Vintage 2004 has yielded a more mineral-driven Cervaro della Sala. With its well-articulated aromatics, layered notes of spices, toasted oak and sweet, ripe fruit, it exhibits terrific length on the palate, lovely balance and a long, fine finish. This blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Grechetto was aged in 100% new French oak. It should drink well to age 12, perhaps beyond.
