Score 95/100 · Drink 2003-2015, Robert Parker, Feb 2003

The 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc exhibits classic notes of honeyed nuts, butter, orange marmalade, rose water, and acacia flowers. Full-bodied, concentrated, and unctuous, it will drink well for 5-12 years. Importer: Vineyard Brands, Birmingham, AL; tel. (205) 980-8802

(80% roussanne) Bright, highly aromatic nose combines pineapple, white peach, spices, flowers and a whiff of truffle. Rich but lively and bright; fruit-driven and youthful. Very exuberant wine, from a yield of just 17 hectoliters per hectare.
