Score 91+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jul 2011

(fermented half in barrels and half in concrete, then moved into all concrete after three months): Good pale yellow with a hint of green. Subtle, very pure aromas of apple, lime blossom and crushed stone. Very tight and high-pitched, with strong acidity for the vintage framing the lemon and lime flavors. Hard to taste today, but finishes subtle and long. This needs three or four years in the bottle. Wonderfully brisk for 2009.
