One of the real stars of my Bordeaux Advent Calendar for 67 Pall Mall this year, just a no-brainer for an easy to enjoy, plush and full of ripe fruit St Julien that is preltty much ready to go.

Very dramatic ripeness! Essence of blackberries. Lots of chew on the end. Real vitality here. Sinewy. Polished.
About the producer

Leoville Poyferre
Ch. Léoville-Poyferré is a Second Growth Saint-Julien property that was once part of the same estate as Ch. Léoville Barton and Ch. Léoville Las Cases. It has the most complex and varied soils of the three and produces the most voluptuous, seductive style of wine.
