(bottled ten days before my visit) Medium red. High-pitched, wonderfully pure aromas and flavors of red berries, rose petal, crushed stone and smoky minerality. Less complex than the Les Saint-Georges that preceded it and a bit stunted by the recent bottling, but this compellingly sweet wine finishes with superb energy and persistence.
