Score 16/20 · Drink 2016-2020, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Oct 2015

Dark fruited and a little savoury, the fruit ripe but not over-sweet or overripe. Some vanilla and cedar still showing, along with a hint of leather. Lots going on here. Still very young on the palate, with the sweet fruit and the acidity needing even a little longer to become sutbtle and entwined. Juicy but still firm in the tannins. But I wonder, if it is not knit now, will it ever be? (JH)

Lively but a bit thin and unambitious. Marked acidity. Not a very faithful rendition of 2009. Green finish. (JR)

Thick polished crimson. Very light nose. Just a little green with great polish – much more polished than Potensac used to be. Could be a good buy? Doesn't seem like a Médoc – more like from the heart of the Haut-Médoc. Greenish finsh. (JR)

A simple and fruity wine with currant and raspberry character, medium tannins, simple finish. Second wine of Potensac
