Tasting notes
79% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc. Second wine. Bright. Dark crimson. Rather interesting aromas with pretty impressive ripeness. Very dry finish but certainly tastes better than one would expect of a second wine of a Médoc château. Extremely flattering. Though pretty marked acidity. (JR)

The second wine, the 2008 Chapelle de Potensac, is a fresh, crisp, light to medium-weight, elegant Bordeaux that should be consumed (with little contemplation) during its first 3-4 years of life.
