A classic Gevrey nose of pungent earth, underbrush and a sauvage note to the red and dark berry fruit aromas. There is also a touch of wood that does not affect the transparency of the very rich, full-bodied and minerally flavors that possess ample amounts of mouth coating dry extract that also largely buffer the chewy, serious and dense tannic spine on the long, intense and driving finish.
