Score 85/100 · Drink 1998, Robert Parker, Jan 1990
The Beaune Les Boucherottes is fat, tasty, quite round, and generously fruity, and capable of lasting until 1996-1998. Jadot's 1985s are loaded with aromas and flavors of red fruits, are judiciously complemented by one-third new oak barrels, and have super color, thanks in part to a very high fermentation temperature of 35°-36° C.
