Score 16/20 · Drink 2013-2022, Jancis Robinson MW, Dec 2024

Blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, Manseng and Chenin Blanc. I was inspired to open this bottle I found in my cellar by how well mature vintages of Mas de Daumas Gassac tasted at Berry Bros in June 2024. Viognier dominates this really interesting blend with a certain honeyed quality. The freshness of fruit is in retreat but for a 13-year-old white this is pretty impressive. Acid was low but sufficient. I think it's probably on the wane and I see I gave it 17 in 2011, and suggested drinking it by 2013! (JR)

Intense cassis pastilles, garrigue raspberry and crushed violets announce the 2009 Rouge, a full-bodied and concentrated red with a fabulous sense of direction. Structured and savory, the 2009 bursts with energy and exits the stage with a focused and powerful finale.
