Finely varnished red fruit, chewy tannin, really crunchy acid, just a little bit faint on the finish, but that’s picking holes – overall, at a modest price, this delivers very nicely. Peppery spice to finish. (RH)

Deep ruby. A similar but distinctly more complex nose complements the equally complex, richer and slightly finer medium-bodied flavors that possess a bit better phenolic maturity, all wrapped in a generous and naturally sweet finish. I like both the purity and the detail here. Allen Meadows, Burghound.com
