Score 18.5/20 · Drink 2008-2026, Jancis Robinson MW, May 2018

Generally 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay fermented in oak. Deep gold. Mushroom, umami, yeast extract. Deep and sensuous. Very muscular. By no means frothy! Very fine, almost hidden mousse. Ideally a food wine, for a creamy liver paté first course? Obviously very mature but in great shape! Long and intriguing. (JR)
