Good full medium red with just a trace of amber. Alluring, vibrant aromas and flavors of red and darker berries and salty minerals. A silky, savory, very pure midweight with subtle intensity and harmonious framing acidity providing excellent definition and a delightful light touch. This beautifully balanced, minerally wine finishes with lovely rising length and nicely resolved yet still-firm tannins. If the 2002 was disappointing, this one is a clear success in the context of its vintage. (13.2% alcohol; 3.45 pH; 3.5 g/l acidity; 42 h/h)
About the producer

Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy’s most important wine producers. The family-owned estate, now in the hands of the seventh generation, is one of the largest in the region, with significant holdings in both the Côte d’Or and the Côte Chalonnaise.
