Tasting Notes
Delicate texture but some autolysis on the nose. Real savour and refreshment. Beginning, middle and end to this proper wine – very much more interesting than many champagnes at the same price.

Gentle leesy citrus aroma just very slightly autolytic (bready). Complex and creamy in the mouth, super-fresh but with a roundness and generosity to the mouthfeel to offset the dry freshness. Some sour-apple crispness on the finish as it spreads across the palate, complex, dry-tasting and sustained. GV. Oct 2016, www.jancisrobinson.com
A light but very clean nose with good minerality and definition with touches of limestone and cold granite. Very good poise on the palate, subtle touches of white peach and orange-blossom but with that minerality always in the driving seat. Superb nervosite towards the finish, this is suffused with breeding and sophistication. Superb! Oct 2008, www.robertparker.com
Pale green. High-pitched citrus fruit and floral scents, along with intense mineral and spice nuances. Dry and seamless on the palate, offering juicy lemon, tarragon and ginger flavors and a deeper suggestion of buttered toast. Finishes on a zesty minerally note, with lingering spiciness and strong persistence. Jan 2015, www.vinous.com
