2004 Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc

Bracing, subtle aromas of gooseberry, lime leaf, quinine, ginger, minerals and crushed stone. Dense, ripe and concentrated, with varietally accurate flavors of grapefruit skin, lime, white pepper, fresh herbs and quinine. Very juicy and firmly built wine with noteworthy flavor intensity and a dusty, extract-rich finish. This will go flinty with a couple years of bottle aging. Distinctive, intense, soil-inflected sauvignon.
