Julian Barbier says this is their best vintage so far of this wine that is made only in the best vintages. Much less open on the nose than the 2002, still deep in flavour and full in the mouth. Much better, tighter, fresher and still a great length and fresh. Much better definition than the 2000.

Bracing, minerally nose hints at Cointreau, tequila, lime and orange. Extremely dry and penetrating, with an airy lightness of touch. Pristine flavors of citrus skin and powdered stone. This has superb cut and brisk acids without being at all angular. Long and gripping on the finish.
