Tasting Notes
71CS 29M Weedy blackcurrant. Pure, rich, concentrated and firmly tannic. Round and creamy with a note of smoky oak and a big hit of mineral. Fruity and upfront. Certainly not in the subtle style of Ch. Margaux but hugely likable.

Very good depth of fruit, perfect Cabernet ripeness, fragrance and smoothness of texture to see a very good future. Drink 2017-30. Steven Spurrier, decanter.com
This is very structured and muscular with a lots of toasty new wood showing now but if you dig deep you see a rich and beautiful fruit and velvety tannin structure. Is this the new 1970? Very sexy. jamessuckling.com
The deep ruby 2010 Giscours offers notes of ripe blackberries, plums, blackberries, cedar and violets, with delicate flavours and good depth of fruit in the mid palate. This is a fairly light, restrained expression of the Margaux appellation for 2010.asianpalate.com
