The 1992 Giscours shows modest bricking on the rim. You know, the nose has held up well, quite attractive with vestiges of red fruit, balsamic and fresh mint, more vigorous than you would expect. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rustic tannins, quite savoury in taste and maybe a little smudged and dry on the meaty, animally finish. But overall, this is not a bad showing in context of its age and vintage reputation.
