Tasting notes
Slightly herbal, with hints of green pepper, this is a surprisingly atypical effort in this vintage of great ripeness and extravagance. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, the wine is medium-bodied, herbaceous and best drunk up.

65% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot. Lively and a touch leafy on the nose, quite fragrant. Similarly herbaceous on the palate but not at all green. Streamlined, dry, appetising. (JH)
Dark purple. Super sweet – almost right bank on the nose! A bit awkward and with lots of tough oak on the end. Qute painful to taste. (JR)
