Tasting notes
Sweet berry and plum aromas lead to a medium body, with fine tannins and a firm finish. Slightly hollow, but clean and well-crafted. Best after 2011. 12,700 cases made. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2010

A dark plum/ruby color is followed by a fruity, soft 2007 offering notes of black currants, licorice, and incense. It is a round, medium-bodied, attractive effort to consume over the next 7-8 years. Wine Advocate.April, 2010
61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot. A tricky year during which Basile joined as managing director. Mid garnet. Nicely melded nose. Round and sweet and easy. Rather burgundian with fully evolved tannins. Sufficient freshness. Not dense but charming. Just not that long. Jul 2017, wwwjancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2015-2023
Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 2007 Bordeaux tasting. The 2007 Lafon Rochet has a lively and fresh bouquet with scents of blackberry, woodland and cigar box—harmonious and gaining intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity and fine cohesion. It might lack a little weight and it’s unapologetically foursquare, but it has a sense of style and class. Tasted March 2015. Jun 2017, www.robertparker.com
