Tasting notes
Score 87/100 · Drink 1995-2000, Robert Parker, Jan 1997

The 1989 Les Cedres, made from 75% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, and 15% Cinsault (no Syrah in this vintage), is a seductive, rich, generously endowed wine, with soft tannins and gobs of intense fruit. Unctuous and velvety, it is ideal for drinking over the next decade. Anticipated maturity: now-2000. Last tasted 4/95.
